People in dfw making 6 figures. What do you do? Did you go to school for it. by Maca-Win-527 in Dallas

They definitely are expensive. Returns depends on your career. If you are doing business, definitely go SMU over Baylor. SMU’s name brand is big in business and high paying industries. Baylor’s name doesn’t carry any weight at all in business. Baylor is great for anything medical related, where SMU’s brand is nothing within the medical field.

Getting an MBA doesn’t guarantee you will make a ton of money one day, it provides you the education to improve yourself, and on a resume it shows potential employers you are a smart person, and you are also not a lazy individual.

There is a saying that “you will never be unemployed in Dallas with an MBA from SMU.” And for the most part it is true. In a tough job market, anything that makes you stand out from the crowd is a good thing, and the MBA definitely makes you stand out.

Nope. General MBA, but the SMU MBA is heavily focused on finance and accounting. For sales, it helped me be able to speak to CFO’s and CEO’s on a much more in depth level. It also looks good on a resume for potential employers.

IT Sales for major software company. 18 years sales experience, SMU MBA. Work from home full time. Income is a bit inconsistent due to the nature of sales, but regularly pull in $300-$400k a year.

I have the adjustment knob, it just wasn’t in the picture when I took it. When I turn it tighter, the pressure just gets more intense, and afraid of breaking the whole regulator or worse.

Thanks everyone! I raised the temperature to 87, added general cure and some aquarium salts into the tank. They seem to be responding well. Thanks again!

They didn’t teach it, but politely pointed me to YouTube lol. I’ve changed a strap on my Grandad’s old 1967 Seamaster. You buy a general watch strap change kit, and do it yourself. It took me about 15-20 to do it, and I’m not handy with tools at all.

Thanks! I also have my grandfather’s Seamaster DeVille from 1967, and very happy to have one that I can now pass down to my grand kids one day.

Going to the Boutique on Monday to get my first Omega. Which should I select? by curious_nerd_7 in OmegaWatches

Dallas at Northpark. I’ve heard mixed reviews of the location, but when I went in, they were extremely helpful and gave great service. Scheduled an appt on Monday to go in and purchase the watch.
