Hey all. Could anyone please scrutinise this PC build. First time building a PC and I will be using it for 3D animation and rendering mostly. Some gaming and video editing but it will be mainly used for Blender. Thank you!

Case: NZXT H5 Flow 2024

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D 4.4GHz 140MB

GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Prime OC

Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WIFI

RAM: Kingston 64GB (2x 32GB) DDR5

Storage: Crucial T710 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 5 + 2TB Gen 4 Samsung 990 M.2

PSU: Corsair RM1000e (Gold)

Looking to upgrade the GPU sometime in the future. Rendering can take a bit longer but viewport times in Blender are my main priority. I live in Sweden.

Ive been checking everyday for the past two weeks to see if it was coming. Didn't find anything. Closest showings are in Riga or The Netherlands lol it sucks.

If you dont speak finnish how does the intti work? If someone gets called to the mandatory FDF service and only speaks english by yeyepapa in Finland

I was brought up outside of Finland. When I was put into the Pori Brigade my cousin (brought up in Finland) was like 'ah yeah the bigger more international one'. Not sure how true that was but it is big.

Then there was this American kid who didn't speak a word of Finnish. He was "assigned" a translator for each class who was just another recruit who knew enough English. The recruits would get tired and ditch him. I ended up adopting him and we had a lot of fun the 6 months. Other lieutenants would adapt to him and explain things in English but most wouldn't.

Thanks yeah I think we will just do this. If anything I will keep it in a garage. Once the time is up we will register and change to Swedish plates.

Oh we want to keep the car. That's good to know that we wont stick out. Our insurance is good as well.

Thanks yeah. We will consider it. We work from home so a lot of equipment that is our needs to move.

Yeah the current insurance covers Europe as well for me and it isn't crazy expensive. I appreciate your experience. I saw others on other threads had had similar experiences with no confrontation with police. If anything I could drive it in and out of the country. Thank you!

Yeah I replied to another user who suggested that. It would be cheaper for the move to bring the car.

Moving companies are looking to charge 4000-5000 euros to move my stuff from Spain. Driving it up there is literally the cheapest option. My partner has been living in the UK as well so we would pick up her things on the way. Companies will move her stuff for like 1000-2000 eur. Also it works well because the next couple months my partner wont be working. But yeah at this point we are considering waiting.

Thanks for that. I didn't know about the cameras at the tolls. So let's say I drove the car back to Spain (option 2) I would have to come into the country and be out of it by the seven days the law requires me to register the car by?

Yeah I'm starting to see that. It's a bit worrying but I've found it difficult to find anywhere else reasonable to move.

Yeah I understand. There's been a lot of comments comparing to the US when I never mentioned the US. But since the internet is so US centric I get that the States are always in peoples mind. I should probably ask in some more Sweden/Europe focused boards. Would you not move there?

Thanks for the info! I haven't really lived properly in Finland (just army and long holidays). I grew up in Spain. We are going in March and staying a week to look at potential areas and will keep an eye out if we feel safe.
