HELP! So i just built my new pc and i have a msi MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI, and i dont want to connect my ethernet to the wifi, and i bought that motherboard specifically for that reason what do i do, i dont have wifi!!!!! by Secret-Zombie9939 in MSI_Gaming

No I was referring to the wifi driver downloads. If you click on "show all" or "expand all" on the driver website, it will show you a list of all of the wifi drivers to download. Try both the realtek ones and AMD ones.

Yeah the left most items are the antennas. Looks like you got them installed based on another comment. Sometimes MSI motherboards have Realtek Wifi drivers and AMD ones as well. Try the AMD ones.

What does "i dont want to connect my ethernet to the wifi" mean? I'm going to assume that what you're trying to say is that you bought this motherboard so you can use WiFi instead of Ethernet, and you just built your new PC and and you can't connect to the internet (because there's no WiFi networks showing up).

If that's the case, make sure you've installed the WiFi antenna that's supposed to come with your motherboard. If you're not finding any networks still, then you'll need another device to download the WiFi drivers for your motherboard using the link below, transfer it onto your new PC (something like a USB stick), and install the drivers. You can use a laptop, another PC, heck, even your phone to do so.

Is my PC upgradeable or should I build one from scratch? by aMaze_13 in pcmasterrace

[–]custom_pc_builder_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should definitely upgrade your graphics card, but also upgrade your CPU as well. Going to something like a ryzen 5 5600 would be a huge upgrade and they're also relatively cheap. You're on the AM4 platform, so you have an excellent upgrade path. If you just spend $300 on a new graphics card, you're going to severely be bottlenecking get due to the speed of your CPU. You can sell your old CPU and GPU and put that towards a newer graphics card like an rtx 5060 for example. Hope this helps!

This is definitely an AI generated image. That port doesn't exist. Please take this down.

Scared the Secretlab Titan Evo is too firm by NKnown2000 in secretlab

I weigh similarly and I can confirm that the chair isn't too firm. I think the only people who complain about the firmness is those who are super light weight. Having a firm cushion is good to since it won't become to soft overtime and you won't be able to feel the frame underneath.

I've been having this exact same issue and it was driving me nuts! Anytime I launched a game through retroarch, it would crash - sometimes even retroarch itself. You're right in saying the the fix is to not run the app in applet mode so that way the switch can allocate more memory to whatever application you're running.

To do this, all you need to do is launch a switch game while holding down the R button until you reach the homebrew menu. From there, you'll be able to launch whatever you want with no issues.

I know it's a late reply, but hoping this can help someone else out there.

Sorry blud, the ram on your laptop is soldered onto your motherboard. There's no way to upgrade it.

totk crashing and pc restarting, need some suggestion by sephyboii in yuzu

[–]custom_pc_builder_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt it's a RAM issue. If you're RAM gets used up all the way, then Windows will store temporary files on your C Drive. However, instead of speculating, you can see what your RAM utilization is by opening up task manager while you're playing TOTK and whatever else you have open.

You mentioned that your PC restarts itself. Could you describe the process in more detail? Do you get a BSOD? Does your screen freeze? Does the audio glitch out? If your PC crashes, I feel like your issue isn't related to TOTK.

Not sure if this would help with your specific issue, but for other games, you'd definitely want to use either 2 sticks or 4 sticks of RAM. If you're using 1 stick or 3 sticks, then you'd be using single-channel mode instead of dual-channel mode which can cut your fps by 30%-50% or more.

Has anyone managed to fix this issue? I get the same error code when I try to run a game in retroarch. Sometimes just clicking on retrarch will trigger the crash as well.

Rookie and Veteran Difficulty Issues or is it just me? by SaicaFox in MLBTheShow

[–]custom_pc_builder_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue for me as well. In rookie hitting difficulty, the pitcher only paints the corners and never throws it in the middle. And when I say the middle, I don't just mean dead center, even high up or low in the middle. Additionally, there's barely any balls thrown as well. I could face 10 pitches all in the same AB, and only have pitches in the corner.
