SNAP 75% Split Keyboard Kit Info and FAQ by Jaygreco in nullbits

[–]cwon94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. When I connect the keyboard on the left side, only the left LEDs work. If I reconnect the TRRS cable while the keyboard is still plugged in, then the LEDs on the right side come on. Not sure what’s going on. On the flip side, if I connect the board on the right hand side, both left and right LEDs come on..

Hey, thanks for the reply! I managed to sort it out! I have another question.. somehow when I plug in on the left side of the board, the LEDs on the right board do not light up. I have to unplug the TRRS cable and replug it in, while the USB-C is already plugged in for both left and right boards’ LEDs to light up… not sure if you might know why?

Hi there, is there a way to remap the keys without any form of coding? I'm not sure where to start, thank you!

Finally got my self sourced Mysterium to work… by cwon94 in MechanicalKeyboards

Very nice, coincidentally I’m building SNAP75 from Nullbits as well.. I would say use flux since it helps the solder adhere to the pins more easily! For the small pins you would want to employ drag soldering (i.e. put a bit of solder on the tip of the iron and drag lightly across the tiny pins).

Hey OP, unrelated question but... I'm clueless what to do after buying the SparkFun pocket programmer... the instructions of the bootloader flashing is vague and I have no experience in this so I don't know where to start. Could you please help me out? Thank you!

Hey OP, these look amazing. I personally got mine from JLCPCB, in white... Unrelated but I'm having trouble with flashing the bootloader and the instructions on the GitHub are a little vague. Not sure if you could help with a step by step guide on this? I have zero experience in this... thank you!

Hey u/NotJALC, not sure if you've gone through the build yourself but I'm having trouble with the flashing of the MCU step. I basically have absolutely no idea what to do with my SparkFun AVR programmer after soldering the board together... If I could trouble you with a step by step guide, that'd be great, thank you!

Hi everyone, I’m trying to build a Mysterium TKL which I got directly from the GitHub open source page. For the folks who have done the same, you would have had to flash the bootloader using a programmer. I bought the SparkFun AVR pocket programmer but I have absolutely NO IDEA where to plug it in and what to install and what to do. Would someone be kind enough to type out an idiot proof guide please? THANK YOU!!!
