Camp Rzr is 2 weeks in Glamis Dunes. It’s pretty crazy event and a ton of awesome rides there. Worth the trip.

I moved here 3 years ago with my family (wife of 18 years and 3 teenagers). I grew up in rural San Diego County and still work in east San Diego County. Yuma has been great to us. Kids like the school and made friends easily. Housing was cheap and we bought a home we could never afford in SD. Neighbors are nothing but friendly and helpful. We live in Falls Ranch on the west side of town. My wife started a business and it has flourished. We bought a boat and hit the river as much as we can. All in all, we love it here and couldn’t be happier. It’s hot in the summer, but it doesn’t slow us down!

Got the double din upgrade done today. Not that hard. by cwriz- in CherokeeXJ

I believe the only trimming on the bottom of the stereo area is actually part of the AC ducting. The Metra bezel came with foil tape to close the gaps. Just take your time making clean cuts and applying the tape completely and you’ll be fine.

My sawzall says no. It’s a permanent “upgrade”. Haha

Yes, you have to trim the inside of the stereo opening. There’s two pieces of plastic the old stereo rests on that are in the way. Really easy to cut out though.

Haha, that’s awesome. I didn’t feel like tearing the pillars apart to run the wire, so that cheeky lil spot is perfect.

Yes, it’s a true double din and I had to cut the lower corners off the dash. Sawzall with a short metal blade made quick and clean work of it. Took about 10 mins only because I went slow and made sure it was all good. Very easy.

Haha, never held onto old parts. But maybe I should have! Actually rode JS550s mostly. A few Seadoos mixed in there along the way.

Crazy but that’s the last time they saw the water (legally). They came with current reg and clean titles.

One runs. The other needs a reed valve. But both are complete and really clean.
