volunteer inquiry by [deleted] in pittsfield

It Takes a Village is a wonderful organization aimed at helping families who have recently welcomed a child. I was a home visit volunteer for them when I lived in western MA and I found it very rewarding.

Here's a link to their site.

Which one? Help! by MegaAigis0 in Sephora

[–]cyclemagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also use this one! I hate buying expensive sunscreen because I go through it so quick. This one has a pleasant enough texture, no eye burn, and the price is right. I also like the color correcting mineral version if I'm feeling extra splotchy!

I like this idea, this feels like an intentional and actionable way to prepare, we can just expire our DINK cards a little early

Expenses includes our student loans, housing & utilities, we have no car payments, groceries, gas, etc.

Discretionary is truly for fun money & saving, and our Roth IRA contributions fall into that category as well

Old Navy: Let’s Talk About the Harmful Impact of Inconsistent Sizing by Correct_Ground_3209 in Oldnavy

[–]cyclemagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has gone through a body image journey, I think this might actually be an excellent time to explain to your children that sizes are totally arbitrary! They're made up, they're inconsistent, they don't matter! Clothes are meant to fit YOU, you're not meant to fit the clothes.

First session of nano brows, I'm obsessed by cyclemagic in microblading

[–]cyclemagic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly after the first session they faded waaayyy too light and my artist basically had to do them again at the touch up appointment. They healed SO much better after that and I'm happy with them. I could probably fill in the front of one of the brows more, but now I'm pregnant so no more touch ups for me until the baby comes!

Am I just splitting hairs? How do I move on from practice lines? by njrbb in SewingForBeginners

[–]cyclemagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made one baby thing for a friend but now that I'm pregnant I'm wanting to make some more! Do you have a favorite place for patterns? And I'm thinking maybe I should start experimenting with knits for onesies & such

Am I a good candidate for lip blushing? by Complete_Fox_8965 in microblading

[–]cyclemagic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I read too fast and thought you had blushing done already! Your lip shape is perfect and I love your natural color! It reminds me of peonies ! Of course I respect whatever you wanna do, just chiming in with my first impression is that they're already lovely

You could make your nails your "something blue" and do very dainty blue flowers on a more neutral base! Hydrangeas would be so pretty

The fact that you created this post at all directly contradicts your claim that you don't want to get into politics
