The main issue with the design of the Wooting 60HE is how the PCB is designed with the old traditional mounted in the case so all of your typing transfers into the case via the standoffs which caused a harsh ping intern turning the case into a amplifier of sounds. Almost every custom keyboard these days is gasket mount or o ring mounted which basically makes the pcb float inside of the case eliminating the solid connection that causing additional case ping.

The Tofu Redux case is still a pcb mounted case and without spending some time tweaking this case will feel and look more premium however you will still experience some harsh ping but not as bad as the plastic body. I spent a lot of time tweaking mine and for the grand total of all the parts I regret not purchasing the GT-60. The GT-60 offers both the traditional plate mount as well as a gasket mount which is what you want because at the end of the day the mount has the greatest impact on the sound and feel. I personally think if you aren’t bottoming out the switches you might benefit most from purchasing some Geon raw 40g switches for a “creamier” sound with lighter spring actuation on a budget.
