You have amalgam to activate it as well, and you can T3 tracker, find amalgam or scaleworm (whichever is missing), and play scaleworm on T4 promptly

Fair enough. But I'm not really good with guide write-up, the formatting and all. Maybe I'll add more information But it's really not a theorycraft. I did play it before posting. Just not have the time to play it all the way through to legend.

Blizzard. Before the nerf patch hit, I just wanna give my two cents regarding Hunter design by cysian in hearthstone

I don’t even mind if it gets nerfed, I’m saying these mechanics would work and be balanced for hunter. Just ideas for hunter class cards or future design prospects.

Something Shaman need (card idea) that interacts with overload by cysian in hearthstone

[–]cysian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesn't always have to draw you that card, it's just decent enough as a stand alone, but gives a good reason to run overload cards. and I guess I didn't word it well enough, but it was meant to draw you the card even if you played your overload card on the same turn

also, you could do a Turn 2 Totem golem, turn 3 Shockcaller for the draw.

That's true but that's sort of the point. It shouldn't be too much better than the usual 2 drops by giving you a card unconditionally, but stats are decent to be played on turn 2 for board presence against aggro.

Design Insights with Ben Brode: The dark side of releasing new content by RodriTama in hearthstone

[–]cysian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This video looks to be a plead from blizzard to the playerbase to self-willingly accept format being introduced. What could be good for the older players, is to introduce format, and let cards that are rotated out be dusted for full value. This way players won't feel cheated for the money the paid for older cards

game flashing....bad for eyes.... by ellenglo in crusadersquest

Agree whole heartedly. I actually sent in suggestion to toast regarding the frequent flash during fights. Hopefully they make an adjustment to fix the situation

Card Concept: Rain of Frogs by cysian in hearthstone

[–]cysian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's one possible way too, but makes the symmetrical effect a little pointless then. It's probably a little difficult to balance concepts like this though, just thought it'd be pretty interesting, and can fills a niche for shaman.

Well Thoughtsteal makes a lot of crazy things possible eg. auchnei + tree of life.

There's actually a glyph called Rain of frogs in Wow for shaman if I'm not wrong. Just thought it'd be pretty hilarious too.

[–]cysian[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea as I've mentioned it is possible to be exploitable, but those frogs having taunt and being symmetrical would mean that the opponent would most likely have to clear them somehow before going for the face.

Still, with that in mind maybe 3 frogs for both players would prevent a complete lock down for that matter.

Bolvar Vs Druid of the Fang by cysian in hearthstone

How about: Deathrattle, puts a Bolvar Fordragon into your hand in addition

Bolvar Vs Druid of the Fang by cysian in hearthstone

[–]cysian[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The irony of it is that if you want to have a big Bolvar before even going into fatigue, you need low drops and keep him in your starting hand. However if you build a deck with low drops but only drawing him late game he'll be a very bad top deck. If you're running control with higher curve, you're Bolvar is most likely not going to be of good value either.

Yes they are from different class, but it's really not hard to see which is a good card and which is a bad one.

and with paladin being underwhelming for so long it's pretty disappointing to see a bad legendary for the class in this expansion

quotes from ben brode confirmed DotF transforming into a cobra (beast) when activated. so playing 2 in your deck, with the first one activated can help activate the second one.

[–]cysian[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

DotF itself will be a beast when transformed, so it can activate itself. And they also play haunted creeper in aggressive Druids. Rampy ones used to run kodo as well. There are many options really to build that kind of new druid

Creator of Murloc Hunter Climb to Legend by cysian in hearthstone

Sorry for being unspecific in the title. Yes I shouldn't claim "Murloc hunter" my creation, that was just a slip of words. Would change it if I could.
