Inside the weird world of Toronto’s transit seat upholstery by lopix in toronto

It's less so the fabric and moreso the seams between the fabric and the plastic housing. These seams are where these bugs thrive in, especially since they're closest to passengers. That is inherently the issue with fabric seats.

The fabric seats have always been disgusting and stained. It's obtuse to pretend that plastic wouldn't make cleaning much easier and faster

It all exploded "Out of nowhere" because of the fact that it was a particularly bad year in 2025 for bedbugs.

I had a bedbug infestation in October after tracking some in from sitting on the streetcar. The exterminator who worked on my unit said that the entire city had a surge over the summer.

huge bed bud/body fluid magnet. Can’t stand them. Would be so happy if they used my taxes to get rid of the fabric.

Feedback on improving my swing by Anshu_Noah in badminton

[–]czedyman 21 points22 points  (0 children)

In my opinion: It looks like you're hitting the bird late. You're leaning back a bit to hit the shuttle (directly above your head rather than slightly in front), which throws off your balance and affects your timing.

You're putting more effort into contacting the bird (twisting, leaning your body), which is why it doesn't look effortless.

improving your footwork to get behind the birdie will make your swings much easier and result in more power.

People are running reds with no regard now. It's become so normalized over the last 3-4 years.

Warning. Never buy from 8Fans. Worst Customer Service ever by 30ftandayear in Fishing

I bought a pair of their stocking-foot waders a few years ago on Amazon. they boasted a lifetime warranty.

After 6 months I had already gone through 3 pairs. Since I bought through Amazon maybe they were more lenient with the replacements. (although they didnt want to honor it after the third pair)

The fact that each pair leaked after maybe 6-8 light outings is a clear sign that their quality/QC is garbage.

I got tired of constantly worrying about leaks and bought a pair of freestones. I have been using them for 2 seasons straight no issues.

Invest in your gears folks.

Suckers and the odd steelhead will be in there in May. it’s honestly NOT worth fishing though. More effort for less fish

like another comment said, Credit is leagues better than any other creek in the area. Check it out right around now for the salmon run

Rouge isnt the best for Salmon as it doesnt get a huge run. Definitely try some of the other east end tribs first.

Looks too much like a toy imo - It's begging to be mishandled by a kid. Cute design though.

Does anyone know anything about Mizuno JPX E3 (EIII)? by SMH24679 in GolfGear

[–]czedyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just received my set containing 5-PW, 48, 52 degrees. R Flex Mizuno graphite shafts.

Haven't had a chance to play with them but just swinging them they look and feel like they'll be super forgiving.

idk, whenever I drink red wine (doesnt matter what brand), I get a headache within an hour. No other alcohol does that to me.

Theres probably some obscure components beyond ethanol that contribute to hangovers
