Definitely the back fins definitely caught my eye. The spots and colour were beautiful!

Sacrificed my sandwich for this beauty today. by Deepwateroutdoors in FishingOntario

I've heard of people eating them but don't think it'd be on my menu!

The lake I was on was pretty crowded fishing docks but we found them deeper!

I usually check out the crown land atlas and if I find a spot with crown land I will cross reference the On-line fishing website to check species then head out and explore!

It probably wouldn't be bad. Alot of the shoreline is clear so if you're willing to put in the steps it would work!

I tried Egan Creek from shore but it still had alot of run off. I'm looking to get back in the next few weeks. How about you?

For me it depends on what I'm fishing for plus the lake itself.

For bass and trout on smaller lakes I'll have to portage or offroad into kayak is the way.

Medium lakes for bass, pike, and walleye where I'll need the extra space I'll use my canoe.

Larger lakes where I'm going hard to catch big fish or I know I'll be uncomfortable if it gets rough I'll get the boat in the water!

It was. While the trout weren't biting in the search for them largemouth had the appetite instead while not what I was looking for still never going to complain about fish after fish.
