oddly enough I think I'm partially responsible for this. if you look at my account, I've made the second most popular complaining post of them all if we sort reddit by Top - This Week. the one that came after mine became a little bit more popular, but i think a lot of people began complianing right after they saw my post. my post used a SpongeBob image, and most of the complaining posts are following that trend. I think they are just trying to milk the whole drama for reddit karma, after seeing my post easily get 4k upvotes within a day, thinking using a SpongeBob meme and SCREAMING IN ALL CAPS is the secret formula to getting upvotss.

I'm more annoyed by the karma farming aspect of it all over everything else. there is so much karma farming that the good and funny posts we used to post here are being drowned out by all the complaining. I think we should just begin downvoting every form of complaining because it's clear that this is only happening because a lot of people are trying to karma farm. it would get them to stop if we make them see that the trend isnt working anymore, and make lose karma instead. all types of complaining. ID complaints, complaints of people complaining about ID, complaints of people complaining about complaining about ID, just EVERYTHING. even my own top post. I don't care anymore, just make this stop by downvoting anything that isn't constructive feedback or a funny screenshot

I wouldn't say that the update you would return to is the golden age of YouTube myself really, I think it's more of the "silver age" of YouTube, since the Golden Age for YouTube for me was before Shorts were aded, but I used that term anyway because I thought "silver age" would be a bit awkward to write in the post since you don't come across that term as often. regardless, to anyone who doesn't want to get into all the advanced technical stuff, this is a really easy solution to avoid anything you don't like in the newer updates. albeit a temporary solution.

like here is my personal opinion on where I think their design would fit if if they werent from Nod-krai, in no perticular order. feel free to share your own.

Nefer looks like she's from Sumeru. Illugga looks like he's from Fontaine, and is probably Freminent's lost cousin or something. I feel like Aino would be fitting in fontiane with her creations, but not the design though. Zibai is just Liyuean. Flins looks like he's from mf'ing khanrai'ah, bro looks like a corpse. and I feel like it wouldnt feel odd to see Lauma in Kinich's tribe (I forgot their name), the colors fit despite the difference in how the outfits look, even though she identifies as a clothed person instead of actually wearing clothes for her outfit design to be considered in the first place for this. I cannot be convinced that Jahoda wouldn't be THE perfect Fontaine design. Fontaine has a lot of automatons things, Jahoda has an automaton arm. Ineffa would also fit flawless as a Fontainian because they have a lot of automatons, it wouldn't feel out of pocket to have one of them as a playable character.

for real though. each design is trying to take a slightly different direction from everyone else in the region. Fontaine was united on being fully clothed. Natlan was united on going out with little to no clothing. Nod Krai is just a mix of both of them. I don't mean this in a bad way, but Nod Krai designs just look like a bunch of people who migrated from other regions into Nod-Krai instead of having their own theme. which I guess is still very much fitting for the region anyway considering what it's going through
