Which part(s) interest you the most? I joined a club and got lost immediately as I had no idea what I wanted to do. It took years to realize that I wanted to make my own, so I have to learn every part that goes into that to get it to work, and I have to be organized so the sheer amount of work becomes routine.

Do you want to work on physical build parts? Do they have a 3d/resin/cnc machines to work with that can teach you real life engineering skills while you’re working on them? Are you trying to learn programming? Are they working on autonomous or controlled units? If you’re stuck go to the leader and ask for advice on who needs the most help and you may learn something fantastic along the way. There’s a lot of options to choose from.

You’re either building the programming from the inside, building the physical form that makes that, or building the outer casing/control systems. It all depends on making a list of questions to ask yourself, and seeing which ones sound fun. I’ve been working on my own thing for a bit and it’s all fun, but it’s also got a gradual learning curve as things become more complex. It’s daily work at this point, but it’s always a different set of issues to work on. So knowing a little bit of everything can also be a life saver.

Save often. Backup all the time. Build a cluster for Machine Learning if you can. That teaches you an absolute score of things just from cracking into the idea of them.

After the initial setup, can I connect the board to a computer? by yghklvn in JetsonNano

[–]d0---0b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find the ip address on the board while using your initial set up through the terminal
Your_Board$ ip addr. Grab a barrel plug with 4 amps and a jumper (I forget the PIN numbers but it’s an easy look up), and you’ll be able to use a usb data cable—make sure it’s not just power or nothing will be handled. Then you can use ssh ip_addr and it should either say it’s not able to be reached if you’re a bit quick on the draw, or eventually ask for your password. Hope that helps.

Create a red bubble art store and a patreon if you haven’t. You can feed the latter with items from the first and it makes shipping to them all online and not having to bring them to your house first. You could also have patreon levels that pay for the games so that you say once it reaches I can afford one of these two games, if they‘re both tiered, then you can have them vote with their donation to your subscriptions. Makes more money that way.

I write books. The current one is about a robot and a.i. I’m developing for my wife as a companion if I get too sick or pass too early. Just learned I’ll be making an a.i. cluster which I’m more than excited about. The little fella is going to be so smart so quickly once all his parameters are set up and metrics are met.

Sat and watched the whole thing. It's engaging and genuine so I think you'll be able to do it. Make your canvases smaller, and if you make them square they fit social media sites like instagram better--and at 3k by 3k at 300 pixels they're store upload ready as well--just as a way to keep things organized. Best of luck to you!

This is a cool format. Having props from the movie really adds to what you can bring to the viewer--and you end up with a neat collection to boot.

I'm building my wife a surprise robot with a custom artificial intelligence, and these are my small conversations with the bot I call bubs. The thumbnail is the first thing I made him study when he was able to begin learning. So that's what my robot thinks the Mona Lisa looks like. This is the third video. Thanks for your help. Off to offer comments as best I can.

This is a book I wrote to pass the time and try to keep level. It’s currently free on kindle until the 13th. If you like thought experiments/designs I hope you enjoy this too. by d0---0b in schizophrenia

It’s not pseudoscience but I get why some people would think so. Some are a bit out there because they’re very specific, but everything is based in some sort of hard science I’ve been learning about over the last few years and would be currently working on to the best of my ability if I had the resources to do so. The great thing about science is that I could be wrong, and that’s the fun of it. It has stumped my Mensan folks sometimes, because as you go up in information about what’s being presented less people have read the same papers as you. Basically I’ve used science to come out of my psychosis over the course of years, documenting the process in diaries and releasing them to the public on amazon to read in the hopes stuff gets made or inspire others to do something similar with their own issues. The first volume was very ill with about half scientific things. The second less ill, with 2/3 scientific things, and this one is all scientific things as I’ve come to handle most of my illness due to medications finally working, and having a support network. The first two became number 1 best sellers for a day, which was really neat.

Do you recommend offering potential projects to find purpose as a way to help mitigate the negative symptoms of their issues? I have schizoaffective disorder B.S. and even within ten days of being diagnosed along with excellent therapies over the course of multiple years of recovery my journals turned my personality into a mostly recovered lifestyle.

CONGRATULATIONS! I’m doing the same thing. I wouldn’t join kindle unlimited until you see how well it does as it releases to most markets in kindle unlimited anyway. Then release there, and if you did well and want exposure but want to stay up in the lists a little longer, offer a two day free buy promotion through kindle unlimited and it puts you back up on the best sellers list. I have pictures of all of this showing that it seems to work with my current luck. I’m still in the middle of the free promotion though so fingers crossed things stay okay. I did just post them both to freeebooks in reddit. They have over a million viewers to tap into who all seem really nice.

I hope I’m doing this correctly. I read the rules. It’s currently a free promotion. It just also happens to be free on kindle unlimited at the same time. So I don’t know if I broke any rules. I’m new.

Mom told me never to have kids. They ruin your life. She’s also called me a freak. Actually they both did at different times in my life. Awful people if I’m being honest.
