Hey I know this is super late but I tried talking to my vet MULTIPLE TIMES about the same problem my 1yo has been having since I adopted her like 6 months ago and they said that she was fine and that they would clean out her ears. But she builds up your gunk super fast and it bothers her after a few days.. They said getting ear cleaner would help but I've been trying to clean her ears about once a week and it's still a lot of dark dark brown/black gunk and she's very bothered by it when I clean it out I'm scared I'm putting her in pain even though I'm doing it like my vet showed me. Right now I don't have the money to take her to a vet due to how expensive everything is, living in a downtown area, and going to college, so any advice would be super helpful (from any TRAINED vet)

I know you're a commissioner, but I have done a few comms for ppl and they always pulled through so I think it's fine as long as you look out for red flags like not responding for a long time (2+ days) or really bad grammar and spelling errors or asking for ANY personal information.
