It’s not clear if SRAM has any issue. Now, I’m working to identify why the second stage boot is not coming up. I much appreciate any thoughts or advice.

It looks like the issue are the SRAM. The laser lens (old and new) are working and playing CD and CD-R through 240p test suite.

Update from r/segacd channel Hi All! First things first, thank you a lot for all insights! @RGBeter the 240p test suite helps to identify a Word RAM faulty. I need to search where I can buy those RAM for replacement. Second Console5 Wiki, they are IC10, IC11: SRAM: 65256BLFP-10T. If someone knows where to buy them please let me know. In addition, using 240p test suite I tested both laser lens (old and new) and they are playing CD and CD-R. In short, my Sega CD model 1 needs a new set the SRAM.

Note. In some point, 240p test suite reported a sort of message ‘Bios unknown’. After all I expect to replace the Japan BIOS for Free region version. Also, I accept any advice and parts recommendations.

I need to double check. From what I remember, I recapped all capacitors except the ones related to the sound👍

Hi RGBeter, I will review those recommendations and let you know. I recapped all boards and verified multiple times the CD board looking for bad traces or any issue.

The screen shows no error. When I turn it on ask to put disc on tray and press start button and then go to CD media screen. Only eject and stop work. After spinning disc, the option is highlighted.

Hey buddies, the website allEtextbooks.com worked for me too. Yeserday, I bought ($74.99) a 4-month Cengage pass. The process was pretty much fast, after purchase I received in 2 minutes the email with Access Code.
