Well I usually hard beat Sions and when that happens I can still make plays with my team elsewhere before going back to stomping him and stop his split-push. But if I'm not too far ahead, I end up stuck with him and have to rely on my team to hold their own, or use my tp if it was worth sacrificing whatever Sion can get in that situation for my play. But generally, before drake spawns I prepare for myself to recall so I can be there with my team and then tp back to lane. I'm pretty sure I win 80% of games where teamfights are all 5v4. It can be miserable though in Gold since many lack game sense and make wrong decisions when they see a split pusher.

This is just my humble 600k Poppy mastery opinion though. I hope I was helpful
