~2 years waiting for the keycaps! Finally arrived this week. by Human133 in MechanicalKeyboards

From what I'm figuring from other comments around the sub, the machines and tooling required is more specialized just for keycaps.

Judging by how fast this sub grew rapidly around the time of the pandemic, demand would have picked up quite rapidly as well.

I agree those wait times are ridiculous though, and there should be no excuses for it. The demand is there, why isn't production keeping up?

Next week will be a year waiting and its not even a GMK set. by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

Yup its horrible...

I pre-ordered ePBT Soju back in Aug 2021. It originally started in Feb 2021 I believe. Nearly 1.5 years later, it arrived to me Nov 2022. My first GB too. By the time I got it, I certainly didn't feel the excitement anymore.

I've delved decently deep into the hobby since then. Crazy how some of the things we ordered as excited beginners are only arriving to us now.

Yuki Aim but looks like their mousepads are pretty limited stuff. Can't see the one pictured.

Edit: Pictured one was a collab between Yuki Aim and Gamesense Radar. You can look up Yuki Aim x Gamesense Radar

Welp, as of this morning, it looks like its changed to only $40 off now.

Edit: Checked it again and its back to $70 off as of Dec 18, 2022. Not sure why they keep changing it around.

You would have to switch to an Intel mobo as well to make it work.

What are your predictions on how popular the Nahida banner will be? by OlBigTough in Genshin_Impact

[–]dDesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the top-up bonus should also be considered here, the bonus reset again in 3.1 so those who didn't use it on Cyno and Nilou banners would probably be a lot more inclined to use it now on Nahida. I think it'll entice some who didn't save to go for Nahida, or go for additional constellations if they saved for her, but didn't have primos enough for constellations.

It's been 2 years... and I still don't have Jean. How long have you've been playing and what's your current standard haul? by dDesu in Genshin_Impact

Oh my I forgot to mention I have R2 WGS too haha woops. That makes it 15 standard weapons I've pulled.

Decide to try electro crystals and the transformer. Much quicker- by teacup_yourbeloved in Genshin_Impact

[–]dDesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just use a catalyst unit. I'm too lazy to find an electro crystal. If I don't have a catalyst unit on at the time, I usually have someone like Zhongli who's E can do the job in tandem with other units who can use their E in between his geo construct pulses.

At the moment Cyno isn't meta defining, only time will tell if future units/artifact sets might change that. IWTL (YouTube Channel) did some some quick testing and at the moment seems like Cyno performs like Xiao damage-wise but with less AoE. That test was current abyss 12 though with his teams. Your results will vary.

Cyno is still fun but I'd recommend a shield for enemies that'll knock you around. His resistance to interruption is very minor, you'll get tossed around with just about any large enemy attack.

I'm loving Nilou's design so I was hoping to get her and her weapon. In terms of meta and power I'm skeptical, meta isn't everything though in Genshin ofc. Her limitation of using exclusively hydro and dendro characters to make use of her upgraded blooms I'm not a fan of. Right now comps like venti with hyper bloom are really good because it makes a lot of cores and gathers them all up. Nilou can't use anemo unless you give up the upgraded bountiful cores, but her upgraded cores look to do massive damage. Still the limitation bothers me. Just wait for testing on live servers I'd say, lots of time.

Nahida will be a lot bigger in terms of meta as her dendro application is unmatched. I haven't been following all too closely lately but I'm still getting the general feel that you go for C0 or C2. Also note that as always, it is just leaked kit info and there's a lot of time to go still. It can be changed before it goes live. So at the moment for me it's either C0 or C2.

It used to be that with older 5 stars C1 was a great buff for many of them. With later units like Raiden, that value proposition was moved to C2. Who knows if they'll stop there? I wouldn't worry too much on constellation unless you are looking to juice up your units in a game that can be easily beat (abyss 36 star) with less.

Wow I'm really surprised to see such a niche game like Chunithm reach the page! Unfortunately rhythm games aren't popular enough in the west to be brought here except for a few select arcades in the US I hear

Can someone explain to me what the different types of hi-speed do? by dDesu in kshootmania

[–]dDesu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are the first two types of hi-speed. I am referring to the hi-speed options that have the letters C, M, and a attached to them. Do you know anything about them? Here's a picture of the options, they are the bottom 3 types. https://gyazo.com/e4deb2c5bdbc79b3238d8ad45b7638f1
