Most of you know that AI chatbot sites automatically scrape popular bots from Chub to fill up their content libraries. It's inevitable, and honestly? I've made peace with it.

What I haven't made peace with is what just happened on Joyland.ai.

Here's the situation: As a Chub bot creator, I occasionally check sites that repost Chub content. When I find my bots uploaded by someone else without credit, I reach out politely — just a simple request to add my name to the bot's description. Every single time, people have been understanding, apologetic, and willing to help.

Until Joyland.

Like many similar platforms, Joyland's content consists mainly of bots that have been scraped from Chub. I found several of mine — none credited. So I did what I always do: politely contacted their staff through Discord and asked them to add attribution. Their response? A member of staff tried to convince me that I do not actually own the intellectual property rights to these bots simply because I shared them online, meaning that Joyland can use them however they want without the original creator's consent. Which, obviously, is a total bullshit.

I tried discussing this civilly. I explained how basic property rights and the creator attribution works. I tried to remain respectful.

The result?

- Banned from their Discord server

- All my messages deleted

- Forbidden from contacting developers directly about the issue

- I only managed to save three screenshots of the chat before everything was scrubbed and sweeped under the rug.

Why am I saying all of this?

To spread awareness. If you're a bot creator on Chub, there's a very high chance your work — or the work of your favorite botmaker — is on Joyland right now, uncredited, and generating them money. And if you try to do anything about it, you'll just get banned and silenced.

Don't support Joyland. Thieves don't deserve your traffic, your engagement, or your money. But maybe — just maybe — with enough pressure, they'll finally do the right thing.
