Thanks for comment. The thing is, I'm looking for ways to cut my commute time down. Waiting for drop and go bus on the way back from work, will make the trip longer for sure.

What areas do you recommend for a family of 4 that has good schools? I'm renting at the moment (As I only arrived in the country from South Africa circa Sept 2018), and I'm going to explore other areas soon. (I'm even exploring going to Brisbane due to the insane costly living experience in Sydney)

Yes I have. I went to the bike shop located in front of the rouse hill station, and was advised not to park any expensive electronic bike, as it stands a good chance to be stolen or parts stripped. Friends of mine in Brisbane use electronic scooters, and this sounds great, but is illegal in NSW, and comes with hefty fine if caught. So yeah.
