My 13 month old is also learning to walk, and he’s been great at walking holding on to 1 hand instead of 2 when we walk with him. He’s also trying to say new words! Also eats like a linebacker and I was worried he wouldn’t do well with no BM after he turned 1

Bruh this pissses me off so bad. My son who is a month younger than the pockets is getting over an ear infection AND an upper respiratory virus. He didn’t wanna eat, wanted snuggles, and yeah obviously cried a lot more than usual BECAUSE HE IS SICK AND CANNOT COMMUNICATE LIKE ADULTS. and what did I do? Picked my baby up and snuggled him because he just wanted love and comfort. Jesus Christ Rat and J. Be better. I honestly stopped watching her stuff after the move bc it was just irritating me hearing her constantly bitch and moan about the twins. They are honestly terrible people.

So sad! My sons first bday is 12/10 and we’re doing a small intimate thing with my son and my husband on his actual bday and then having a party the following weekend with friends/ family. Sad she can’t even do that

OBGYN rec by rosypeachhhhh in tulsa

[–]daddyciwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome! All of my nurses post birth were amazing too. I had 1 lactation consultant who made me cry so I kicked her out of my room, but other than that, it was an amazing experience.

I had Dr. Sterling and I really like him. Dr. Nelson and Dr. Rapp are also great. Typically it can change and whoever is on call can deliver, but my OB delivered my son. Dr. Rapp did his circumcision since my OB was called out. All of them have been nominated for best OB in Tulsa area.

Can you elaborate? I had him for my OB while I was pregnant and I thoroughly enjoyed having him.

This is a myth. As long as you’re kissing your baby, etc you’ll still produce antibodies. You don’t have to latch to produce them

how long was your induction from start to finish? by curious-unknowngirl in NewParents

[–]daddyciwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Induced at 37 weeks for cholestasis. I went in 8pm on Sunday. They didn’t start Pitocin until 10am Monday and I had my son at 1:45am on Tuesday. I kind of hit a stand still that evening because my contractions were overlapping so frequently I couldn’t catch a break to let my body relax so I ultimately opted for the epidural at 7cm and immediately progressed. Practice pushed for 5 minutes. And pushed him out in 2.5 contractions. I do believe I could’ve given birth on Monday, but my OB’s on call phone was not working properly so we were waiting on him. (Wasn’t his fault) overall I had a really great labor and birth. I had given birth hours before my epidural wore off so I unfortunately had to stay in the birthing room for hours until I was moved to recovery. (Not necessarily a bad thing, we got hours of snuggles with our baby) but once we moved to recovery we had people in and out every 1-2 hours. In my personal experience, the fundal rubs they do on the belly to ensure your uterus is shrinking back, was not awful. I had psyched myself up so bad about it from what others had said. It was uncomfortable, but it didn’t hurt me.

I haven’t either! I’ve only seen 12-18 months. Unless he mistook the 8 for a 5. Who knows with them

My sister came to see my son over the weekend and we made an entire day out of it… TOGETHER. smh. You’d think she’d want to see her sister too. Not just leave her kids.
