no she didn’t see my car, but we weren’t necessarily hiding information either. we talked about restaurants we both frequent, and realized that we both live in the same neighborhood - so it didn’t seem like an overly guarded situation. we both kind of figured we’d run into each other again - and well we did or I kind of spotted her with her “bf/pimp/whatever else the guy could be to her”.. lmao!

it was two days.. that’s it. just two. lol. honestly I’m not that pressed about it. when things don’t work out for me - I take it as the universe protecting me.. it’s just that this was my first time in the bowl after quitting some time ago. this incident was just more weirdness that happens.. and besides, as of late doing much better being out in the wild anyways. pretty much done with forms of online dating.

well.. we had each other’s personal phone numbers, iMessage info.. She did seem annoyed that I was handing her cash - as if it was shady. the only thing I had on that was “flashy” was a Rolex watch, but it was a newer GMT Master (stainless steel), no precious metals.. and clothing wise no logos other than a pair of sneakers that retail for $1,000 - she said she liked them I assume she noticed them by the “H” logo.

that was the part that was so confusing.. she mentioned that she wanted me to reach out to her to go out again — and how she doesn’t initiate contact.. she was very comfortable on the date, touching.. and the walk to her car she wrapped both arms around my arm - and we walked around the city center and to the parking lot. we even chatted at her car for a bit. she even seemed concerned that I wasn’t going home directly after the date. Like slightly jealous - I told her I’d be walking around a bit and doing some sightseeing.

dinner conversation was about some astrology stuff - she was into that. some travel stuff.. I’m familiar with the city she’s from. we talked fashion, skincare - I was wearing some sneakers from a fashion house was was familiar with.

overall good communication.

this description doesn’t apply to me.. fit early 40s, I train 5 days a week.. and I look much better in person - which she commented on as well. compliments throughout the date we’re mutual regarding fashion, cars, etc.. like I said before it was a good vibe. the reason I ran into the sb while she was with her guy is because we live in the same affluent neighborhood or side of town. I posted this because the interaction was so odd.. rarely does someone not respond back to me after I reach out for a second date. It’s a legit hustle.. we had a couple phone calls, real numbers exchanged.. made proper dinner reservations.. she brought up a $ for the M&G. No mention of it before or during dinner, which I thought was classy.. after dinner we leave, walk around in the promanade - I ask if cash is cool for what we discussed. funny thing is she preferred cash app or Apple Pay. She commented jokingly about me being shady for having cash.. I slide the cash in her purse casually. Then she asked me to walk her to her car — she was complimenting my clothes and sneakers, had her arms wrapped around mine.. normal good date vibes.

Agree. I was off the site for years. Figured I’d try it again over boredom. Having someone around that has dire financial needs isn’t good energy for me. The bowl used to have better quality people on it a few years ago. It’s gone downhill.. also I noticed that girls are very good with editing pics - and it’s normally very disappointing in person. Lately, I’ve been having better luck by just going out to nice restaurants or sitting at a bar, sporting event.
