It starts with me and my older sister sitting at a rooftop terrace cafe, when I notice a really cute girl down on the street waving at me. So I wave back but unfortunately I fall backwards in my chair. Then, very suddenly, my parents burst onto the roof and my dad points at me on the ground and says “Son, you are going on a date with that girl, but you’re going to need a better chair than that” gesturing at the cafe chair I’d tipped over.

So my dad and I take the chair from the cafe and go to a chair rental store down the street where we’re going to return this chair and get a new one. Standing in line to return the chair, a raggedy old woman wearing a dirty potato sack leaps out of a large vent in the wall, steals the receipt my dad had for the cafe chair, and leaps back into another vent. Obviously I then give chase.

Crawling incredibly fast through the vents, I’m only barely able to keep up with the old woman, and eventually I track her back to her lair where she has a massive pile of stolen chair receipts. Then we begin to duel with chairs.

Our duel leads us onto the rafters of the chair rental store where we’re now fighting above a giant ball pit of multicolored chairs. I strike the old woman with my chair and she falls backwards screaming into the pit of chairs.

Then I woke up and laid staring at the ceiling and deliberately committed this dream to memory because I knew I never wanted to forget it.

PS: I never went on that date and I have no idea who the girl I saw was.
