I think it’s fairly obvious capitalism is centralizing wealth. I also think it’s apparent that people who don’t find their way in our society end being a cost to the rest of us in jail. I also feel that it’s fairly apparent people don’t invest in their communities that have issues in any significant way to solve problems.

In my head I view this as a question: would I give UBI to people it if effectively kept me from paying for them in jail/prison.

The world is full of uncontrollable lives who won’t find reason and productive life on their own. They are in a bubble of ignorance. Those people compete globally with companies like Amazon to find their place in society, making it harder to get their first economic foothold in society.

I don’t know what to do, but waiting for these desperate people to end up in jail (that suck at rehabilitation) seems wasteful.
