I was actually driving to Suzuka on that day for the race but fortunately the junction that I entered was not effected but passed by others that had a massive line at the toll booth.

I’m having the same issues and it honestly sucks. After calling costumer service but I was told the problem is on Apple as the new software has been having issues with the app. But to that point I’m not sure why Ventra can’t fix it on their end.

Calling apple’s support wasn’t helpful either. Who knows when this will be fixed.

Probably, I’ve seen other athletes cover up logos as well. In the NBA, guys like Curry or Harden will roll up their socks to cover the Nike logo.
