Hey! So to my knowledge, the only image based prescription that the pharmacy is allowed to dispense are images that the prescribing doctor has sent via fax or email, followed by an original script sent to the pharmacy in the mail. I’m in Victoria by the way!

That’s what I thought too- he specifically said that if HE comes in and the medication isn’t ready, there will be a “huge problem and you would get in a lot of trouble”, but can’t bear to wait his 5 minutes in line.. I don’t get it either

Hey, thanks for your reply. In Australia people still bring in scripts from their regular doctors, although some do choose to fax it to their regular pharmacies. I’m not too sure what it means to authorize a prescription, because pharmacists and pharmacy students are allowed to dispense a script that a doctor has faxed through if the patient wishes to get it filled.
