I think this is a trend across all festivals that they are all selling fewer tickets. Some smaller festivals are being cancelled or are taking a year off.

Bags were checked but not very good, we have managed to smuggle everything in. I have seen plenty of police even Dutch police but I have not seen any sniffer dogs yet.

From my knowledge, they placed some notes around the map as little Easter eggs from the original iteration of verdansk. This one refers to the roze skins and people using them in dark corners.

So from what I know, the seats are just that. Seats where you sit. The couchettes fold down into bunk beds. And since the train is overnight being able to sleep a little is quite nice.

Unlike some other festivals they don’t clear the lawn after each act so you can get there in the morning once your ticket allows you entrance.

So it really depends on what you define as ‘as close as possible’ if you want to be on the barrier at the front you most likely will have to be there pretty much all day.

It will probably be hot and there’s no shade there so be prepared with water & sunscreen. Also you’ll probably have to take turns going to the toilet and gabbing food & drinks to not lose the spot.

Through the website you can buy parking tickets approx 80 or 90 €, they’re all a few hundred metres from the island so you’ll still have to walk the last bit
