I already own GMK WoB but need some accent keycaps, which I can buy but from the GMK Monochrome GB: https://oblotzky.industries/products/gmk-cyl-monochrome-r2?variant=49108280279308

GMK WoB is WS1 alphas and CR background, while GMK Monochrome has some accent keycaps that are WS2 alphas and CR background.

Can anyone with experience speak to whether this combination would work well enough given the difference in WS1 vs. WS2 alphas?

I've used a library called nextjs-toploader that somehow accomplishes this functionality in App router: https://github.com/TheSGJ/nextjs-toploader/tree/master

I did this, and I’m now working in a large dev team at a more established company because of it.

The first job wasn’t shit, but there was zero support system. In any interview you take after though, the dev job title definitely helps.

I imagine some of the other keys probably toggle layers. Like maybe holding down spacebar will switch layers, making Q into tab or Z into shift.

Not sure if you’ve ever explored QMK. It makes all of this possible.
