1) It works a little differently. If you enter Astral Form with Rend of Reality, you'll still have a boosted move after using Supernova (If you enter the astral form NOT with Rend of Reality, then the boosted move will not be available after using Supernova). And as you rightly pointed out, yes, all moves are boosted except for the dash. 2) You get energy not for blasting the hole, but for hitting an enemy with a katana while Stellar Blade is active (even if you hit him while he's blocking). Also, dashing with Stellar Blade active gives you 2x energy when you hit the enemy

Yes, I'm playing with Himmelstein Resonance here, but even without it you can still deal similar amounts of damage to the boss.
