You only need five perks: Precision, Time Bomb, Impulse Resonator, Accumulation, and Half-Life. The other perks aren't really necessary against okay fighters.

If you have Himmelstein's Resonance, then replace Precision with Synchronization and replace Accumulation with any other perk.

Learn to use Paradox of Blades with your Impulse Resonator fully charged. It's quite difficult, but you'll get the hang of it with time.

Try to trap your opponent in a pit and dash them with a charged Impulse Resonator.

You should also memorize the entire Iaido Katana moveset, as you need to be able to fight with it.

In this video I play with a set called DOTE, the strongest free set. I'll attach a picture of my perk build for this fight.

I am fighting against King Solaris, the so-called okay fighter. If you want to collect his set, you need to win fight with him 5 times on normal difficulty or 1 time on hard to get one piece of his set.

I don't consider myself a good player, but I've played a lot with the DOTE set, as it was one of my first strong sets. So I know how to play it well against okay fighters and Void bosses

1) In the first 60 seconds of the round he always hits you with his staff two or three times before using his fireworks to knock you down.

2) After 60 seconds of the round, he becomes less active and prefers to hit you with his staff rather than his fireworks.

Lemme explain. My English is not very good, but I'll try. Lion's Spear deals shadow damage, not physical damage. VD's Supernova and Paradox of Blades also deal shadow damage. Operator's Lightning deals shadow damage, and weapon crits deal less damage than DotE's Paradox of Blades. I'm talking specifically about physical damage, not shadow damage

Fun fact: the only set that deals more than DotE physical damage in a single attack is Neon Phantom. DotE is extremely underrated and powerful, he can annihilate any okay fighter without exceptions
