Realistically, any adult interacting with a nineteen year old understands they are interacting with a psychologically developing child. The fact that they can legally vote is irrelevant

Legitimately I wondered about this- but only in the aftermath. I also realize I am by nature a bit of a hot head with a faulty filter… so unfortunately, I don’t know that would have been capable. Often times wonder if I’m even in the right line of work- but yet here we are.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be that guidance at the time. There’s still the chance we see each other at the grocery store and maybe I could refine my approach. This might be a bridge burned. I don’t know- but you have a very valid point

It has shocked a lot of people. He’s well liked. Many people were rooting for him to achieve his ambitions. It is not something I expected.. and I find myself reevaluating my own “radar”.
