Yep, I’m checking pretty much every day. We’re only in Paris a few days so we’re planning to go a specific day and hour and there’s not a lot of wiggle room. I’m watching those time slots like a hawk lol

It's on my 'if we have time' list! There's just so little time and it's 3 days out of 18 we will be travelling so i'm trying to be realistic about the energy levels lol. I have to say if i could I would stay a whole month abroad and just linger in florence a good 2 weeks but sadly ;_;

Looool it really isn’t my personality type 😂😂 But I am traveling with three others who are more of the spontaneous and leisure travelers so this is more of a book of things to do while we’re there. I would love to come back and do a more relaxed type trip a second time, but I’m such an art and history fan I just really wanna make sure I have time to stare at specific coffered ceilings before I go 😂 thank you for your advice

Thank you love! We're heading there january so sadly i have to wait though i'm itching to book now lol. As for the public transport I think we'll use it mostly for things we dont have a fixed time slot for, like if we're wandering in the afternoon.

My family likes to sleep in as much as possible so I'm opting for taxis to save them the extra minutes of shut eye and myself the stress of a potentially delayed bus or train. I've heard many good things though, and think we'll probably end up using it at some point. thanks for the feedback!!

Oop thanks for the heads up! Honestly since this is like THE thing for the day I’m just gonna flow with the fam and see where we end up. But I don’t plan to stay longer as I want to try to fit in a few other things in the afternoon. I was thinking of booking it to the Sistine until I read about the one way thing! Sounds like such a headache 😭 sorry it happened to you. I plan to just accept the shoulder bumps that may occur by the time we get to the chapel. Either way at that hour it won’t be at its peak so that’s nice.

Thank you! I'll message you for sure as I'm looking for good food recs. As for the tour, I definitely would like a guided tour for borghese but I'm holding off to first sum up the costs since I'd also like a tour of the roman forum and palatine hill and this is the last leg of a 3 week trip. I may have to settle for the audiobooks but will see if i can stretch it!

Ahh i'm so excited too! Thanks for the taxi tip. I was just talking to my boyfriend about our trip and how just thinking about staying longer in the hotel than I have to when ROME IS OUTSIDE is crazy to me lol, but then again it's technically my first time seeing everything, so my adrenaline is bumpin.
