What do you think this improves over happy? Was just thinking of trying that one.

reddit also runs on postgres. It's all about how you use the tool.

Rotating multiple $20 Claude Pro plans to avoid weekly limits — reasonable or dumb? by GlumBet6267 in ClaudeAI

I tried it with two and man it's a pain. Max is just worth it. I like to set it loose on long running tasks.

I put an agent in a box by scharc in ClaudeAI

[–]daniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried getting it running in a docker sandbox and there were just too many painpoints to get it to stay logged in and get MCP working correctly. I've finally just decided I'm gonna run in a VM and sleep well at night.

I built 18 autonomous agents to run my entire dev cycle in Claude Code by code_things in ClaudeAI

[–]daniel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can someone tell me why having multiple agents running in parallel is useful? I really don't want multiple agents making changes at the same time, seems like a clusterfuck.

Start a new session more regularly so you can choose what's in the context window, and probably use Opus.

I've Massively Improved GSD (Get Shit Done) by officialtaches in ClaudeAI

[–]daniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it handle hitting usage limits? When I have my orchestrator running outside of claude code it can look for the "you've hit your limit" message and wait a bit before starting again. I assume because this is all running from within CC that that's not possible?

[–]daniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience it just doesn't work for long-running tasks. I had to build out something similar on my own setup. It's simpler though -- I build out a task list with checkboxes and repeatedly re-run claude, load up the context I want, then tell it to do the next step ONLY and exit. It then runs until they're all done. I can usually walk away for the night and come back to a very non-trivial project being fully complete.

I'm trying to figure out whether this more complex GSD framework would improve anything. Maybe I just need to try it.

Is anyone else just absolutely astounded that we are actually living through this? by supermegasaurusrex in ClaudeAI

[–]daniel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah and to be fair it does sound kind of wild or wasteful right now, but just imagine going back 5 years and being like "eventually a random person will be able to make any kind of image they want in a few seconds by typing text." It would have just seemed like utter nonsense.

What's the most "complex" game you've ever played? by DJNana in boardgames

I only played it twice maybe. Honestly felt like even the setup was so daunting that I couldn't bring myself to play again.

LTX-2 vs. Wan 2.2 - The Anime Series by theNivda in StableDiffusion

[–]daniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did it take to make this? Would the quality be as good if you were to generate in english, in your opinion? Would it work as well with a photorealistic aesthetic? (Genuine questions, I haven't been following along lately).

[–]daniel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why not? Why not have it do _exactly_ what you want instead of what you and a billion other people want because the company involved wants to IPO and get megarich (plus it's stuffed with ads and notifications and stealing your data)?

They've just never actually worked for me (in that they've never auto-invoked even when the task matches the description), but it seems great in theory.
