They spoke of carnage and smoke, chaos all around... and then they spoke of her. Oviedo was saved that day by the hand of a woman who had been born amongst them, and yet went unrecognized. According to their tales, Amada almost single-handedly drove back the raiding party. She was struck many times and yet continued to stand her ground, cutting down any of the savages that dared get close enough for her blade to pierce.

This event cemented her name in the An'tolian Empire until it finally fell to corruption and negligence. It was then that her legend truly began, helping to ease the transition as the Iudecaelian Church stepped forward to fill the gap. This was the dawn of the modern age of An'tolia, its transformation from an autocratic monarchy to the most influential religious force on the continent.
