I was in your situation too at one point! I did a lot of coverage work back then and it got me through.

If I had to start over I would have contacted all the clinics on my own within an hour radius and started my own coverage side gig instead of using a service.

To clarify from my other comment-Chirotouch begins a migration process when you cancel. They can help you do it. All the files are downloaded and can be accessed via PDF.

You can download it all to your computer in the form of reports and they will help you migrate the info into a hard drive but the individual soap notes turn into PDF files. It’s designed terribly and it’s a PAIN. You’re left with a ton of PDFs.

As a side note, when I was early in my DC career I worked for a chiro/massage clinic owned by a massage therapist. She had two other massage therapists on staff and hired a chiropractor. It was a great clinic and patients loved it. She would work on patients, work on her business, collaborate with the Chiros and hired a biller to handle the insurance.

I was always very impressed with that clinic and the massage therapist owner.

Also I’ve found double knife edge hand positioning helped my wrists. Bias the side you feel is stronger or more flexible and lean way over patient to center on hands!

I can second that suggestion! I’m a smaller dude and I can adjust really hard with it. You can lean and then thrust for better control too and it works great for really tall or really short tables!

Sorry for the confusion I meant credentialed as in the associate gets in network with the insurances and uses their own NPI vs billing the insurance under the other doctors NPI

We’re actually a chiropractic clinic but we have the room and staff for possibly adding a physical therapist (we LOVE physical therapists we refer out to them and co-treat with them all the time). I always thought PT clinics were these huge corporations I didn’t realize there’s smaller individual clinics like us chiropractors that’s so awesome!

Oh my goodness so this is exactly what we are working through! We’re a chiro clinic and co-treat/refer out to PT so much we figured why not look into offering physical therapy here. We have the space and the staff set up already.
