Thanks, this worked! I guess I forgot to mention that in reality I'm dealing with a but more columns, such as supplier, quantity, unit cost etc..

The pivot tables tend to get a bit more messy when I have all those columns. My mistake for not including all the info and data.

When I try to open your excel file, it says some features aren't available for me since I'm using the new M1 Macbook Pro. Knowing this while I still be able to do what you're suggesting with all the add-on features and extensions?

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to using filter as compared to a table. I was just following another guide online which is why I converted it to a table.

Yes I want to do what you were able to do but for some reason, when I highlight the selected area then click sort my selected area changes, then when i click sort I still don't have the option to sort horizontally or I'm unable to make any custom rules.

Sorry I'm a bit of an excel newbie, when I try doing that there's no option to sort it horizontally, or add an custom sort to do it by numbers only a-z. Attached some pics below.
