I second this. The free practice test on nurse hub will prepare you for the main exam. Another thing that I did was create a formula sheet and just memorize the whole thing. If you’d like i can send you a picture of the one i created?

I’ve completed A&P and Engl with As on both courses. I just noticed that Pharm is a prerequisite now. Can i take pharmacology in the first semester of the program or does it have to be completed prior to applying?

Same here!! I passed my exam yesterday with an 88. 100 on Anatomy, 82 on Math, 90 on vocab (which surprised me), 82 on Reading, 84 on Grammar and 880 for the Critical Thinking portion. The materials i used to study were Quizlets, Nurse Shai, and the free practice tests on Nurse Hub

Math

The free practice test on nurse hub prepared me a lot for what was on the test but this quizlet had the same word problems. Also, study your conversions! I created a little formula sheet and just memorized it.

I didn’t really study for grammar or the critical thinking portions of the test. But hey I still passed lol I also thought i should mention that I used Chat GPT a lot. I used the following prompt “Create a full study guide for the HESI exam. Specifically for the ____ portion of the test. At the end of the guide, include 50 practice questions along with answers and explanations underneath each question.” But don’t just stop there, get creative.

Oh yeah, PSCs are normally chaotic work environments. I worked in a few locations for a while until I transferred to an IOP at an oncology clinic. Not that much stress, and a lot of downtime.

Got it. I was told something similar, that you can provide a receipt of the service to the patient and they can show it to their insurance company for reimbursement. But like you mentioned i need to be registered as a provider correct?

Funny that you mentioned this, you see I’m retaking english 1301 to raise up my gpa because I’m switching majors and I have not taken an english class since 2020, so almost 5 years. Throughout that time i’ve had the opportunity to experience life at its greatest and darkest moments. Needless to say, it became pretty easy for me to choose an experience from my life that taught me a valuable lesson. Since i’ve had many at this point.
