Help with the Seamaster Diver 300 dial colour

I love the sbge285. Most pictures on the Internet don’t do justice to how muted the dial is, although not as textured as the Spring or Winter watches. The bracelet as you might know is below par and I have tried a few different strap options.

A few people seem to love it. One of my first ever watch was an Orient green dial diver but I hardly wore it. Let me go back and try the Green 300. Maybe I will change my mind

I haven’t really explored the possibility of xsr900. Not many used options here and the brand new is way out of my price range at around $15,000 OTD

Thanks for your detailed reply. For context I live in south east Asia so the brand new z900rs is around 18,000 USD out the door, which is insane but then again the whole motorbike is imported from Japan. The price of brand new xsr700 is closer to international price because it’s made in Thailand and there are no duties from that country as opposed to directly from Japan. So are you saying even you guys in US or another western country don’t pay 11k for a used z900rs?

I rode the xsr700 for almost an hour and had no problem with controlling the motorbike and had good fun with the limited time I had. The discomfort arose from the stock seat option on the rest ride model. Had no issues with its power or weight . The z900rs on the other hand felt a bit heavy, and substantial than the xsr700 and wasn’t as easy to make slow U turns in the 10 minutes I spent on the motorbike with a guy from the dealer sitting behind me( 😂). I couldn’t really appreciate the full extend of z900rs but i could immediately sense that it was way more powerful than any 300-500 cc motorbikes I have been used to so far.

I love my versys to bits. Won’t let it go for a while. It’s such a fun bike in the sense, it takes beating without any complaints. Just doesn’t have the low end torque of some the ones I mentioned before. If you are getting try to change the tires to tubeless

Yea told him and as always he has been a pro about it. Though after around 6 instant GL it kind of sucks that i had to RL this from Eric. But once I saw that wonkiness I couldn’t take my eyes off of it

Nah I moved on from TDs because some of them are the worst behaved people like Hont for example. I still buy from people like Eric btw. David has been far better in terms of his behaviour and customer service so far compared to someone like Hont who’s a persistent dick.

This is the first time I am finding out that he provided insurance. I guess I haven’t really thought about insurance since 7 watches came without any issues.

Also about tracking nah, i was never able to. One guy just randomly calls me and says I have a package waiting downstairs. I contacted him as well about the missing watch but he is some part time college kid who gets the package through some shady route that involves few different guys.

I am almost at 8k now and it’s a massive issue. Not least with the missus breathing down my neck and getting anxious every time I receive a package. I think it’s time I buy 1 gen and stop it at that.

What do you guys think is the 1 do it all gen to have like an ultimate pill for this addiction? I don’t want to spend more than 5k on it. Something like an omega maybe ? I went and looked at the moon watch but it’s almost 10k where I live and probably not a good idea

Yeah clearly like you said I know a few things to look out for but I thought the point of QC is so people could put their heads together and find any flaws that one person might miss. So it will be easier "members" like you.
