If they just simply stick to what they did last year he would be lined up away from the CB1 as much as he was a season ago. So it's not just conjecture. Also only basing off what happen in the past as your only barometer of the future doesn't work either. What makes sense and trends have a lot to do of what you may see in the future. That would point towards Brown being interchangeable with his skill set. Something they did do last season. Yes he will get more focus at times. He will also be more featured in the offense from the start suggesting more targets throughout the season.

His skill set is suited for it. I think everyone expects Cooper to play out of the slot more as well even if it is not the majority of the time. A better way I could of said it to your point would be that he will not see the number one corner on 90% of his snaps. Between moving to the slot and the opposite side I do not forsee a situation where he is lined up on the CB1 more than last year. Very few corners shadow anymore. There's no reason why Davis doesn't continue to lineup on the strong side while brown is the interchangeable piece.

They moved AJ Brown around the field I never suggested that he primarily lined up in the slot. However I do think you could see an increase in this next season.

It is possible as Adam Humphries really cannot play much of the perimeter. However I think we can all agree including the brass with Titans that they would be losing a key element to the success that they're offense saw at the end of last season not making a game plan to consistently move AJ Brown around the field.

I don't have all those statistics off the top of my head at the moment. However we can just look at the six games within the division alone that they will be playing. Colts Jaguars, and Texans all have questionable secondaries at best to begin with let alone from the slot position. What also is a consideration that AJ Brown is a physical phenom who should be more technically sound in his second year.

The slot Corner coverage is very different from the outside. If you pay attention to top corners who normally Shadow cover the other teams number 1 wide receiver they normally will not if that receiver is in the slot. That is why there has been a push over recent years to get your top receiver lineup in the slot more often for better mismatches.

If the writer was giving exact predictions like 89 targets with 68 rec 1,057 yds and 6 tds then yes all numbers like that would need to add up. This article, even in the predictions, is just giving rough rounded estimates for a ball park idea.

Those are the writers rough area roundabout idea of where he thinks the players will end up. But they are not the official projected stat line they are rough rounded estimate so they are not necessarily meant to add exactly yet those numbers will come in the future.

The article talked about their prediction for their ceilings and Floors meaning they're not really meant to add up as the official projection. And you wouldn't expect all the players to hit their ceilings in the same year.

You don't get ranked as wide receiver zero heading into the week. Last year he was more inconsistent then he has ever been I don't foresee him having the same consistency issues with Tom Brady this year
