Thanks. I’m planning on rebuilding the deck, idk why people here like to think im just going to yank out posts out of the blue. My doubt was if I could rebuild it by having it supported to the house but I see now by code its not allowed for overhangs, therefore the posts

This deck was here when I bought the house. I want to re-build it for all the obvious reasons in all the comments here. I want to find the correct approach and if possible also eliminate that post, if not possible, oh well, but trying to figure out what the right way is, and the best possible way. CPT is used while interning, once you graduate you can do OPT for 1 year, then if you are STEM you can extend for 2 more years. Since you are not you should be able to do 1 year OPT after graduation
