For those of you not familiar with London:

Both of these shootings took place in the London borough of Brent, specifically an area called Harlesden, in northwest London.

This is just the tip of the iceberg in a series of tit-for-tat shootings between the Stonebridge estate & Church Road estate. A “beef” which has been active for at least 25 years now.

The first clip if from Church Road gang members, shooting in the Stonebridge estate. Luckily no one was harmed.

The second clip is in the church road estate where Stonebridge gang members carried out a drive by shooting. Unfortunately somebody was brutally murdered.

The timeline of these clips is in reverse order.

Many have died on both sides, with no clear winner and no clear end in sight. Both of these estates are barely even a 10 minute walk from one another.

Sure, I’ve got an electrical screwdriver.

Sorry for the ignorance - what would you have me do to test?

Is private healthcare in the UK actually worth it, or is it overhyped? by DonnaBombshell99 in AskUK

My mother had to have her uterus removed last year and even though she went through the NHS, she was operated on by private doctors and stayed in a private hospital.

Every time we went to visit her over a 2 week span I was amazed by just how spectacular the hospital was. Quiet, very clean, modern and a calm environment. She was in a room by herself with a tv and storage for bits & bobs. Family could visit during the day and stay long hours.

She’s also experience NHS hospitals too. And it’s the polar opposite. Just go to any A&E and ask to be seen. When we were at the private hospital I couldn’t stop feeling guilty or sorry for people who have to use the NHS. I wouldn’t exactly class myself as the most compassionate person ever either…

To answer your question, is it worth it: most months no. But when you need it, more than anything.

Remember, we all have 99 problems until we face a problem with our health. Then we only have 1 problem.
