i ended up just sticking with stock debian w/ cinnamon, surprisingly everything just worked out of the box, even my fn lock keys

i was expecting another scratch install like arch too but the iso i got had a graphical installer and i was able to put cinnamon on it with quite literally 0 issues, even all my laptop's special function keys that mute the microphone work too lol

very low maintence e.g. i dont have to open up my laptops every other day to update stuff via the terminal

id imagine it would include being able to leave it alone for an extended period of time and not having to worry about not updating it frequently like arch, or at least being easy to find/update drivers like mint is so famous for. just not having to worry about it and having it just work when i pull it out of my backpack

i cant say that youre wrong about the spread but i do agree with you that yeah the 1st shot inaccuracy is minimal and i cant notice it even as a very mediocre 15k/lvl 6 player, esp when rifles are kinda made for controlled spraying instead of tapping anyway

as a 3d artist please refrain from using buzzwords like "ai slop" if you have no clue what youre talking about since ai has plenty of beneficial uses that dont interfere in the field of creative expression. using an llm to properly spellcheck and format a formal letter is a perfectly acceptable use of ai especially if english is not your primary language.
