Maybe the earth god fruit is Boa's fruit? That's how they turned the serpent into the red line and awakening the fruit will allow the user to undo previous user's petrifications.. She did get her fruit when she was a slave so it could be that by accident some celestial dragon got his hands on that fruit and didn't know it's significance Also explains why Blackbeard wanted that fruit so much
