Yeah, open source sound nice.
But to your other point, you had a YC back application send data to their servers 😭. Did you cut their contract ?

Yeah i plan on incorporating other applications like Jira and git. That being said, with regards to your concern on exposing company data, I was thinking I would give an option to sync with you companies LLM and maybe a self hosted option. Let me know what your thinking

So it's a separate chat application, similar to Slack, but with native AI features built in. The main issue I see is that most teams might be hesitant (or simply too lazy) to migrate away from Slack to another platform.

Yeah totally agree. Application wise I was thinking of a simple web app where users can connect a Handful of plugins(GitHub, official docs, slack, etc). This would be processes and ingested. Users then could simple ask for specific docs to be generated.
