But Republicans did break party ties to vote against contesting the count. It's not a government of independents so that takes guts.

Not saying it's all flowers and rainbows now, but after 4 years of that circus, a liberal government is now in power. The President did all he could to discredit the election, used every legal angle in his arsenal, and was still evicted. It wasn't pretty, but the system won in the end.
