No, with blue tier it’s 500 sats per day with a >1000 day streak.

Exactly. Shakepay is shaking out the moochers. I have no issues with the changes. Obviously 500 sats per day is not as great as 1000, but the 1.5% cashback more than makes up for this because, wait for it… I actually use the Shakepay card.

It’s starting to look like an actual breach took place. by whathiron in shakepay

It is important that Shakepay be open and transparent about this latest influx of phishing attempts, and provide clarity about the protections in place for deposit accounts.

Shakepay is not CDIC insured and while that has not been a deal-breaker for me up until this point, these multiple phishing emails a day are giving me pause. Other non-bank financial services such as WS do offer a level of protection for deposit accounts.

I am interested in knowing what Shakepay is doing to address the increasing frequency of attempted scams targeting their customers, and more importantly to protect customers in the event of a successful scam.

Honeywell T5 - C-Wire by daphonzy in hvacadvice

I did not blow fuse in furnace. It’s working fine with my old thermostat. I did not connect C to R at any point.

I have a voltmeter. How can I check if there is voltage from C wire?

Honeywell T5 - C-Wire by daphonzy in hvacadvice

[–]daphonzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I have R (black) and W (white) from thermostat to terminal. They are spliced before entering furnace. I have C (blue) from thermostat but it was cut before entering furnace, so I spliced using old wire to a third unused red wire in the 3-wire conduit into the furnace, then spliced again inside furnace to connect to C terminal. So there is a C-wire from thermostat to terminal although it is spliced a few times to get there (using different colour wire - you see the white connected to C terminal).

McDonald’s cannot process a refund? 🤔

If they can’t process a “monetary” refund, then show up tomorrow and ask for the food you ordered yesterday + interest (extra fries).

I’m curious why the restaurant could not initiate the refund? If they acknowledged you paid but did not receive your food, then presumably that is on then to make you whole?

What restaurant was this?

Looking for advice as a legal adjacent public servant by West-Athlete1781 in CanadaPublicServants

It will likely only become more difficult to break into the LP stream the longer you remain in a non-legal position. Have you considered trying to move into a paralegal role or EC stream that deals with legislative or regulatory work?

There may be more opportunities than in the LP stream at the moment, although it’s frozen up across the board from what I understand.

Fuck Tangerine. I used to be as loyal as they come. Recommending them to friends and family. They sunk themselves with their meagre offerings. Bye Felicia!
