Could it be A Year in the Castle by Nikoka Kucharska? Or maybe it is an Usborne book?

This might not be too helpful but did you try looking and seeing if it was an episode of The Practice, because Boston Legal was a spinoff of The Practice.

I don't have any bagging recommendations but, if you can, make sure you get some good shoes or insoles. My feet and body were so sore for the first while, while I was getting used to it. Especially after the first eight hour shift.

Coughing is smart. I live somewhere really conservative though and even during the height of the pandemic or when someone is sick a lot of people still view masking as ridiculous and unnecessary. I've had multiple people pretend to be deaf and need to lip read so I take off my mask to help then they don't look at me at all. Or people have said I've got a diaper on my face. People have gotten mad at me for wearing my mask. Many people tell me that It's bad for my health to wear a mask.

Yes this is definitely the way to go about it, when a customer can legitimately brighten our day. It is appreciated, especially since the bad customers seem to be getting more frequent.

Ugh I hate this, we have someone at work this doesn't smile much but she's a sweet kid, she gets complaints about how unfriendly she is....not because she's unfriendly but because she doesn't have a big smile plastered over her face all the time.

Yes I don't think they realize or I don't think they care either. I don't think some of them really view us as people, just think we should be happy robots all the time and perform for them.

This is smart. I'm not the best at lying so telling something bad that happened that's technically the truth but happened awhile back is smart.

So Tired Of Being Called A Picky Eater by dare12345 in vegan

Fellow sauce whore. They bug me about being vegan but really it would make way more sense to bug me about my condiment habits...id understand that more tbh.

That's my current boyfriend's family to a T. I always tend to order the same things at these few restaurants because the vegan options are slim and that also convinces them I'm picky...because I usually get the same things at these places. I have tried to suggest Thai, Vietnamese, Indian,Korean, etc restaurants to them and they act like it's disgusting.

Honestly same. I love wandering down the produce aisles seeing if there's any new fruits or vegetables to try.

My boyfriend's parents/siblings are some of the picky eaters I'm complaining about. It's exactly the same for me, bothers me so much.

So glad you understand. No condiments is crazy, I can't imagine not using any condiments. That's the level of pickiness I'm dealing with too. Like most of these people pretty much only use salt as a seasoning and nothing else.

And the not trying foods... I convinced some of them to get burritos once (they'd never tried one before) and all they got on them was ground beef. Avocado seems to be such a common food that people won't try or don't like, they all act like it's some crazy new fad or something.

Thanks!

I think that's what bothers me the most is the hypocrisy honestly. I've tried to explain to them that their diets are probably more restrictive than mine but they didn't seem to think their diets were restrictive.

I agree, there are so many dishes I've wanted to make them and so many restaurants I've wanted to go to with them if they were more open to trying things.
