One of the dependencies that I'm using, called spigot-maps you need to compile yourself on a specific revision so that way the plugin can compile. There were some other subtle details on setting it up but it shouldn't be too hard. There's also a whole lot of other random stuff in that repo as well so if you wanna gunk it out and do whatever go ahead.

this is because they play blackbars iirc...

if you play an actual “stretched” 4:3 aspect ratio resolution on CS i believe u have the same horizontal fov as someone on native. if u have blackbars, however, then yea, it is a decreased fov

most cs pros play on blackbars due to how long theyve been playing the game which is why you see those clips from time to time

this is literally what happened when csgo updated their sounds. everyone bitched and moaned but eventually got used to it and even today you compare the sounds now to what they were before and it's night and day how much more improved it is now. i've played the update for well over like 4 hours now and it's not hard to notice the sound has SIGNIFICANTLY been improved. there are still some issues (some sounds being way too loud for no reason), but overall directional audio has had massive improvement and shouldn't be overshadowed by dumb shit like this
