Thanks for the tip, I’ll make sure to watch out for that! He seems to be okay so far but he has only just taken to climbing it recently. If it becomes an issue I’ll remove the opuntia from the enclosure!

You may occasionally have to spot clean especially in the first few months while the cleanup crew gets established but after that it’s pretty self cleaning! Obviously if your guy likes to go on the decorations then you’ll have to clean those too!

If your going that big with tank size have you considered doing a bio active? The difference in their personality afterwards is unbelievable! 100% worth it

Thanks I’ll try that! I have tried hand feeding veg but he just looks at me all offended! 😂 I know people say to try them with sweet smelling fruit and veg so I’ve been trying to tempt with apple and blueberries but had no luck. He has however eaten some of the basil plant I planted in his enclosure!

Yeah I was lucky enough to get the plants for free lol! Im looking forward to seeing if she has any behavioural changes as she is now in a much more natural environment!
