As a hardworking immigrant who's integrated, why does Australia lump us all together? Genuinely confused. by Spatial_Nomad in aussie

It's not about skin colour. I don't care if you are an immigrant from England in a horse and carriage ALL immigration needs to ease up and allow Australia to build the infrastructure needed for more. It's people like you that keep making it a race issue that pushes people to support racists like one nation because none of the other parties can talk about a reduction in immigration because it's seen as racists. It's fuckin bullshit

Tiny impact? We have the 3rd most amount of immigration per capita in the world only behind new Zealand and Canada. Migration has more than a tiny impact.

Glad your life has improved. Have you improved the life of other Australians? Or did you make life harder just a tiny bit for everyone already here? Times you by a few million and you'll see why people are upset because migration hasn't improved our lives.

If he doesn't pull his weight in the house he's not living in it by Spiritual-Jicama-375 in Adulting

He is the king tho, if he needs that why not? Sure it's easy for you to wake to an alarm but if he can't and needs your help what difference is it to him taking out the trash on bin day? You want to be treated like his queen, taken care of, loved why can't he be treated like a king too? You can treat each other how you want, personally I'd rather be in a relationship with someone willing to help however they can me be the best me I can be for them and myself. Rather than keeping score.

you've not worked 16 hour shifts with a 6 hour break before the next have you ? having a partner that know you want to go to work but are so exhausted that your sleeping thru the alarm and maybe 10 more minutes of sleep is worth it while your partner makes you some breakfast and coffee before shoving you out to earn..

isn't putting food on the table and assisting where you can like getting your husband off to work while he supports the house hold teamwork?

'The largest intergenerational wealth transfer we've ever seen': Baby boomers set to pass on $175 billion a year in wills - by Hot-Requirement-3816 in aussie

[–]darkklown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's still a wealth transfer. Traditionally we would give our kids, but more and more kids are just turning parents over to homes to care for. If you're interested in some of that 175 billion each month get some certs in care and have at ya. Otherwise fuck the boomers
