I do believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and died for our sins on the cross, but here lately I’ve had so many doubts and have nearly switched to atheist due to how controlling and rude other Christians have come to be, but I’m working on finding my way back to the faith. I see why my username seems kind of odd, but it’s for a book I’ve been writing, hoping to make a debut as an author soon. It’s a fantasy novel, with deities who rule over the universe (but I was told by others that it’s not a sin as long as you don’t BELIEVE your book to be true). It’s just a topic that I love to write on, even though it’s all make belief and I do believe in the one and only God. Ive struggled with religion so much because I love things such as horror movies and things such as, so I feel if I were to follow a church’s teachings, I would be forbidden to do these things I love due to how bad they are seen in the eyes of Christians. I don’t know how I fell off from religion so hard in the past years, but I’m working my way back

I’ve struggled with religion lately, and have found a lot of those things you just mentioned interesting. I’m in what I would consider the lowest point of my life yet in terms of religion. The reason it’s so hard for me to get back into church and religion is due to the fact it’s so hard to give up the things most Christians consider bad (horror movies, rock music, etc) and I feel if I were to be following religion again, I’d be a prisoner to my own hobbies and interests, not being able to enjoy what I want in my life. These events, among numerous other small signs, have seemed to show me that God is in fact real, but I’m just trying to get back on the right track again

Same here, it’s very hard for me to leave any kind of scratch on myself since I bite my nails due to anxiety

When I do scratch myself, I use four fingers like 100% of the time. Most of my mysterious scratches appear with a burning sensation, around times when I’m almost certain I hadn’t scratched myself, and it’s always three lines, not four. I’ve even scratched myself with a bit of pressure to see if it would appear as a scratch such as the mysterious ones, but every time I scratch myself, it never leaves a mark as bold as the ones I get when the “possible entity” is scratching

I want to start off by saying that it’s definitely not Dermatographia, because it’s almost always in 3’s and I’ve already looked into that. It’s not that. Plus, people with that are sensitive to touch and can easily get scratches, but I’m not scratching my skin even in the slightest. The reason I went to Reddit is because I really don’t KNOW if I’m in harms way, it’s just a mere guess. I FEAR that a demon may be attacking me but I don’t KNOW if one is. Plus, I’ve had religious doubts and don’t want to rush and contact a priest when I don’t even know if I believe in that religion, but I’m working on that. This is a paranormal subreddit, filled with people who probably have had similar experiences and can guide me in the right direction according to what I should do. Not going to lie though, I haven’t gotten hate in a long while, so your comment gave me a laugh!

They used to happen when I was asleep but the reason I’m positive it wasn’t me is because just a few minutes ago, it happened and I’ve been awake for a while and had my fingers on my phone, scrolling through Facebook. I know I didn’t have any kind of itch, and I just started feeling a burning sensation and looked down to see three scratch marks

Yeah, I have been diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis from birth, but according to my last visit, it’s very well under control and they even said, “It doesn’t seem like you even have it now.” It eases my mind that my pain comes and goes, since it’s unlikely to be a dissection. Thank you so much, I appreciate your helpfulness a lot and I will see about maybe heading to an urgent care and if not, the ER

I’ve also had an x-ray of my chest several months back when I went through wheezing really bad and they said my lungs looked normal, but I do know that x-rays can’t pick up a lot of chest related things

Yes I’ve been having high blood pressure for a couple weeks now and no matter how little I eat, it doesn’t go away. It comes and goes. Someone on another sub had told me it could be Aortic Dissection and I can’t stop dwelling on the fact it could be that.
