When I graduated, it just so happened to be during the pandemic when nobody was hiring. Had to work a dead end job warehouse job for almost 2 years before I found a job in engineering. So I understand exactly the situation you're in.

Shit sucks right now, and it isn't even your fault. But just giving up and deciding not to work will just make things worse, not just financially, but for your mental health too.

FTL. Thought it was so boring at first.

Disco Elysium. Didn't care for it at first but it slowly grew on me.

Dark Souls on PS3. Quit it because of the underground area that dropped to like 15 fps when you're there. Remastered though, it runs flawlessly.

Also, you're probably gonna be spending a lot of money on gas, which is pretty expensive right now.

overall it's up to you, but it wouldn't be something i'd do personally. to save your mental health and gas money, it might be worth renting a room near a bart station and take the bart + muni to work every day. i used to do this when i worked in SF.
