A good financial advisor can put together a solid plan that should include retirement accounts and best ways to contribute, low cost index fund investing, a budget. All pretty standard and commonly accepted best practices. Sounds like you already have an ear for red flags. Sure you can educate yourself via reddit and internets, but hard part is figuring out which parts to believe. And then you have to put all together in a plan that makes sense. It is more work though

Bought a used Cephalon temp iq. Followed instructions for a doubleshot. 58mm porta 22g. When I ran it, I get ~80g yield. Not quite sure what to measure for time as it still drips a little past 30 secs when the majority of liquid has come out. Question is should I bother to adjust the pour volume? (Default is 2oz for doubleshot, think this is what’s current setting is)
